Cork Bed and Breakfast:

“Great place to stay!”
Reviewed 30 May 2012 Great B and B - close to the city - just a short and
pleasant stroll. Very handy for anyone attending UCC. Barry and Molly made my
stay very enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble and they also make the best
eggs in Cork!!

“Top Spot”
Reviewed 22 May 2012 Spent 3 lovely nights at this comfortable, peaceful B&B.
The location was within walking distance of the city centre yet was quiet and
cosy. The host Barry gave me many tips on things to do and places to see not
often mentioned on guides, adding to my enjoyment of this trip.

“home from home”
Reviewed 16 May 2012 I went to Cork for a long weekend in May to stay with a few
friends. Barry was a superb host. He was honest and told us what was worth doing
and what was worth avoiding. My friends arrived early the following day and
Barry nonetheless made them a lovely breakfast which was very welcome. He gave
us recommendations of where to go. The rooms are simple but clean and tidy. For
the price including breakfast the B&B was great value. You wouldn't get this
level of hospitality in any hotel and if you are you are likely to be paying a
lot more. It is about 15 to 20 walk from the town centre and a lovely stroll
through the university.

“Very welcoming”
Reviewed 16 May 2012 The hotel overall was very satisfying... The owners were
extremely helpful and really made there guests feel at home after there
guests... The rooms were very clean 2a very high standard of cleanliness.. If I
was 2 recommend a B&B I most defiantly recommend Maria Villa.

“Very good”
Reviewed 16 May 2012 I really enjoyed my stay at Mariaville House, Barry was so
helpful and very friendly, he showed us the best places to go for food and drink
and we had a lovely breakfast in the morning and he even took us to the church
in the next day as we had a wedding to attend :-)

"Great B&B on Cork”
Reviewed 13 April 2012 Barry, Goretti, and Molly were a pleasure to meet and get
to know. We had a wonderful time at their B&B. Barry and Goretti helped us book
our next 2 nights in other cities and told us a great restaurant to go to that
we really enjoyed. The breakfast was amazing and fun to share with 2 other
families that frequently stay at their location. It was a wonderful experience.

“Great Hospitality!”
Reviewed 21 March 2012 My friend and I stayed at Maria Ville House over St.
Patrick's weekend, and we had a great time. Barry and his family were very
friendly, and Barry was especially helpful with giving advice on what sites to
see and the best ways to do so. He even ran out in the rain to let us know that
we were heading in the wrong direction. The breakfast provided by Barry and his
family was absolutely delicious. This is the exact Irish hospitality that I
expected!
